Lip Enhancement & Rejuvenation
Laser Lip Rejuvenation - The laser treatment to rejuvenate wrinkled or aged lips. During the healing process, the collagen and elastic tissue beneath the skin tighten and remodel, restoring the "V" to the upper lip, providing a healthier, more youthful shape to your lips. Most of the healing occurs during the first one or two weeks. During this time, the treated areas must be kept moist.
Injectable Fillers - Injection lip fillers is the most preferred method for treatment to make their lips look fuller and more voluminous. There are many different types of fillers that can be directly injected into the lips. The most common injectors include Juvederm, Belotero, Versa, and fat from your own body. On the average, synthetic fillers last between six to ten months, depending
on the patient and the filler. Dr. Manolis can also eliminate vertical lines and correct drooping corners of the mouth during the procedure. Following a lip enhancement procedure using an injectable product, your lips remain swollen for only a few hours. You may return to normal activities the same day.
Permasil Lip Implant - These are solid silicone elastomer. This implant cannot rupture, deflate
or degrade over time and is resistant to tissue ingrowth. The surgical procedure takes 45
minutes to perform under local anesthesia in an office setting, and patients can resume normal
activity the following day. One of the greatest advantages is that it can be removed easily, but
the implant is permanent. The implants come in various sizes and are implanted below the lip
skin. Some swelling may last up to a week.
